4 day 3 night Ocean Hiker offshore live aboard Sailing Course

This course combination will take you through the whole Ocean Hiker sailing course in 4 days. You will stay on board the Sailing Yacht as you would when doing a real passage. The idea of this combination is to get the true off shore feeling by being four full days aboard and cruising to the surrounding islands here in the Gulf of Thailand between 25 and 40 nautical miles distance away. Where we are heading will be depend on the weather. We will apply as well shift rules as it is necessary when the yacht is sailing 24 hours a day. All responsibilities a board from sailing to cooking and cleaning will be shared between the crew/students and the skipper/instructor. At least on one of the three nights we will keep sailing as it is standard on ocean passages.

This passage making will give you the most experience and deep inside of ocean sailing and about 150 or more nautical miles to log in your new Ocean Hiker Logbook.

This sailing course starts typically from Koh Tao. On request we can start this course as well on Koh Phangan or Koh Samui. Extra charges will apply!

What will you get?

4 day / 3 nights ocean hiker sailing off shore course tuitition with possible passage destinations to Angthong national marine park, Koh Samui or Koh Phangan or other surrounding small islands (depending on wind and weather) including food and accommodation aboard the sailing yacht.

Study materials, Food, soft drinks, accommodation aboard are included.

When to start?

Go to Price and Booking page , fill out the form, give us your maximum period of stay on Koh Tao by using the date picker and we will get back to you by e-mail with our sailing course schedule. Once we could agree on a date you will have to pay a deposit to confirm your booking. This can be done by bank transfer or even PayPal.

What to bring?

Space is always limited aboard sailing yachts so if you are traveling with a lot of luggage we will ask you to pack only the basics you will need within these four days. You can store the rest in our headquarters on Koh Tao until we are back.

Needed is swimming shorts or bikini , a raincoat if possible, a towel, one warm jumper and your study materials.

What does it cost?

The 4 day 3 night ocean hiker offshore sailing course can be booked by one person but needs at least two person to get started. Maximum student capacity is three.
